1 touch outside zigzag – Dribbling

1 touch outside zigzag dribbling.

Individual Skills Library.

1. Setup ten cones in a line, around one foot apart (they need to be close but not too close so that the ball cannot pass comfortably between them).

2. Start on the left side of the cones and using the outside of your right foot, touch the ball through the first cones then immediately use the outside of your left foot to push it back through the next cones. Repeat this process using one touch with the outside of both feet.

3. The ball should move in a zigzag motion in between the cones. You need good footwork speed and a composed touch to move through the cones at speed.

4. Test yourself – go at speed from the outset. This exercise requires very quick foot speed and a good touch so you will make mistakes – as you know, that’s part of the learning process so keep doing it!
