3 touch quick feet – 1v1 Moves

3 touch quick feet 1v1 move.

Individual Skills Library.

1. Setup two cones (or use t-shirts if you don’t have cones) to act as a defender or if you have a partner, they can act as the defender (they should be passive and not try to tackle you).

2. Give yourself some space (around 7 or 8 metres) and run at full speed at the cones/defender.

3. As your approach the cones, fake to kick the ball with your right foot and quickly drag it back across to your left side. Stop the ball with the inside of your left foot and then immediately push the ball past the cones with the outside of your right foot.

4. The key is the speed with which you move the ball between your feet, hence the ‘quick feet’ name. The fake kick and quick movement of the ball between your feet throws the defender off balance which allows you to go past them or at least create enough space for a shot.

5. Once you have worked on your right foot, switch to using your left for the drag back and push past the cones/defender. Finish off with alternately using both feet until you feel equally comfortable on either side.

6. Test yourself – work at full speed and focus on the quick movement of the ball between your feet. You won’t be able to do it perfectly every time and will make mistakes, that’s a guarantee – the important thing is that you push yourself to work at max intensity and speed.
