WARM UP

100m jog (length of soccer field) followed by 100m three quarter speed sprint

 

30 seconds rest

 

LUNGE SPRINTS

10m walking lunge, 20m sprint (use cones to set out distance)

x 6 sets (no rest between each set)

 

2 minute rest

 

PUSHUP SPRINTS

10 pushups, 20m sprint (use cones to set out distance)

x 6 sets (no rest between each set)

 

2 minute rest

 

QUAD KILLER SPRINTS

10 knees to waist (jump up and try to get both knees waist height) followed by 20m sprint (use cones to set out distance)

x 6 sets (no rest between each set)

 

1 minute rest

 

COOL DOWN

100m slow jog (length of soccer field) followed by 100m walk

5-10 minutes stretching
