WARM UP

Length of soccer field (or 100 meters)

x 3 sets (two sets jogging speed and final set three quarter sprint)

 

1 minute rest

 

SHORT SPRINTS

20m distance

Full speed sprint

x 10 sets (10 seconds rest between each sprint)

 

2 minute rest

 

MEDIUM SPRINTS

40m distance

Full speed sprint

x 8 sets (15 seconds rest between each sprint)

 

2 minute rest

 

LONGER SPRINTS

60m distance

Full speed sprint

x 6 sets (20 seconds rest between each sprint)

 

2 minute rest

 

FULL FIELD SPRINTS

100m distance (length of soccer field)

Full speed sprint

x 4 sets (25 seconds rest between each sprint)

 

2 minute rest

 

COOL DOWN

Length of soccer field (or 100 meters)

x 2 sets (one set slow jogging speed, one set walking)

5-10 minutes stretching
